The World Trade Center window-washer looking up in goofy terror as one of the hijacked planes careens towards the towers... A dumb yet venal President Bush talking on the phone, taking out insurance on a Middle East oil facility while he plays with a toy plane—smashing it into two World Trade Center towers models he's built out of Lego... Tracy Ullman using the phrase "Let's Roll" (the phrase uttered by American hero Todd Beamer on 9/11) in a comedic sketch lampooning the storming of the cockpit on Flight 93... These ostensibly comedic films and sketches shown in this report from CNN don't just make...

By Rene Guerra The local Pravda (a.k.a. San Jose Mercury News) published an editorial recently about the need to regulate the carbon-offset business. Great! The Left invents a lie (global warning and greenhouse gases caused by humans mainly), creates a great sneak-oil business (carbon-offset indulgences) and now the Left in Marxifornia (a.k.a. California) wants to start regulating the shameless scam . . . blaming free-entrepreneurship for...

They were NOT driven from their homes. Arab radio stations announced that their forces were going to come in and push the Jews into the sea, and so the Arabs in that area (not yet called Palestinians) should "temporarily" leave their homes, lest they be cut down in the crossfire. They weren't driven from their homes; they left willingly...

This is going to get worse before it gets better. The question is, does the MSM go too far? Do they make opposition to Obama and racism so synonymous that there's a backlash? People who aren't racists—which describes most people—may be so sickened by being called a racist that it might galvanize their opposition to Obama, rather than softening it...

The American people aren't stupid. What they are is misled. Since we technically have a free press, it is easy for people to get sucked downstream in the MSM's river of fibrication™. Those of you who follow politics understand what is going on here. This can't be dealt with by making a couple of commercials or starting another blog. Those things are great, but we need more...

Thrill as Western Civilization crumbles...not with a bang, but with an absurd little whimper.
Postmodern godlessness + statist bureaucracy = this kind of absurd nonsense...

How exactly are we supposed to get fair coverage with these levels of bias? I know that's a silly question, because we already don't get anything close to fair coverage, and cannot reasonably expect to anytime in the near future. The entire industry of media has to change, or be changed from the....

That pesky planet of ours! It just keeps defying the will of the Goracle and his torch-and-pitchfork wielding mob. Yet another piece of evidence that the Earth has been cooling and will continue to do so for a while more. Oh, and this is based not on computer models, but actual observation...

Someone explain why Obama gets to get away with this stuff, when if it were a Republican, this would have been broadly noted in the MSM. Seniors at crunchy Hampshire College would be doing Div III theses on "Misogyny in Republican Campaign Rhetoric" and there would be PhDs coming out of Berkeley with similar...

Some of us have wanted to believe that at least the humanitarian portions of the UN, like the WHO,etc., do good works. We should have know better. We should have known that when something is as rotten as the UN is...

If "racist" = believing that one's race is superior, and having antagonism towards other races based on that belief, then surely "Islamist" is an essentially accurate—even mild—way to describe al Qaeda. We vote for the obfuscation of any relationship between terrorism with clearly Islamist motives and the religion of Islam as foolish, PC nonsense....

I was in Moscow for the 1991 coup. I placed myself, along with 250,000 Soviet citizens, on the barricades guarding the Russian Parliament. I listened to Yeltsin speak; I drank vodka atop a tank with the tank driver. I was a part of the fall of the USSR. It really annoys me to see it coming back...

For the love of crumbcake, kids have ENERGY. That's not hyperactivity in need of medication, that's E-N-E-R-G-Y. It's healthy. Sure, it's utterly exhausting at times for us parents, but that's what it takes to raise the next generation. Try a little dose of love, followed by 30 cc of discipline. You'll be fine in the morning.

Two items caught my attention this morning, in both cases because they point out similarities between things the left does today and things they did many years ago. They haven't changed; they have the same tactics, and the same taxonomy of loves and hates. The first is hatred of the U.S. and its symbols...specifically, the Starts and Stripes...

Stop being nice about this stuff. Stop taking the high road. Stop being more "manly" about it. Punish these people for every act, no matter how small. Get that guy arrested. Sue him, and his parent organization, for a violation of your civil rights. Set the suit amount at $10,000,000. Make it a test case on political assault...

The headline FOX News has is not the headline that they would have if there were any real justice for the left. The real headline should be...

We've been talking about this stuff a great deal as a part of the efforts of the New Wide Awakes....and yesterday, we got some assistance in disseminating some of these facts of civil rights history from a powerful source: Rush Limbaugh. He used a bit of ironic mockery and a lot of historical fact to "allay the fears" of the superdelegates vis-a-vis tossing Obama overboard in favor of Hillary...

Today's feature covers vote fraud and political violence perpetrated by Democrats. Democrats, however, are not just limited to smaller acts of violence. They also support, and are supported by, people who commit acts of hideous terrorism. A tip of the hat to Hugh Hewitt for linking to this article about exactly what William Ayers'...

"Double standard" doesn't begin to describe it By Christopher Cook
The difference between what Democrats can get away with and what Republicans can get away with is so extreme, it could be said to be a violation of the 14th Amendment. For example, if you were to ask the average man on the street which party engaged in vote suppression, voter intimidation, and vote fraud in 2000 and 2004, what answer do you think...
