AnyStreet's county module system is like no other, and we think you're going to be very excited about it. You've expressed an interest, and hopefully, once you've learned more, we can count on you to join or help form the module in your county.
First of all, we are not one of those organizations that creates chapters and then gives you no guidance . . . except to pat you on the head and say, "okay, now think of some cool activist things to do and go out and do them."
We're with you every step of the way. The entire national network is interconnected, with an infrastructure dedicated to giving you the tools your module needs to push forward, every week, every month, every year.
At the same time, AnyStreet's blueprint for activism doesn't dictate every last little detail. It's a nice mix, one that gives the guidance your module needs to really make things happen, combined with the flexibility to tailor your activities to local concerns and the makeup of your module.
The county module is the fundamental unit of the AnyStreet network. It is the beating heart, the activist hub. Being a part of a module is not a full-time job, but it's a bit more of a commitment than the classic organization (where you attend a monthly meeting, hear a great speaker, and then go home until the next month). AnyStreet modules are about action, about changing the political landscape.
You're probably curious to know how a module works . . .
Well, some of it will be modes of activism with which you're very familiar. Other aspects will be new and different.
On the surface, the system appears deceptively simple: county-based activist modules divided up into various action teams, engaged in a variety of activities to further a cause. This actually conceals a much deeper sophistication—a comprehensive plan in keeping with our philosophy of fighting this political war on EVERY front.
There are a lot more details, but the first step is to start forming the modules themselves.
This requires that we empower a county coordinator in your county. That process is already underway and---with over 3100 counties in the U.S.---will continue for some time.
So, here are the preliminary steps for you to take:
1.
If you would like to be active in your county module but you do not want to serve as coordinator, you can still help to build the module in your county. There are two ways to do this:
a) Do you know anyone in the county who might be interested in serving as coordinator? If so, please tell them about us. Send them to the website, have them read this entry, and/or ask them to sign up here.
b) Make a list of all the conservatives you know in your county. Just like with the county coordinators in a), please tell them about us and ask them to contact us if they're interested in getting involved.
We cannot stress how important a) and b) are. One of the rules of thumb in this business is that for every group of people contacted, only a small percentage will respond, and of that group, only some will end up becoming involved. Thus, it is crucial to have as much outreach as possible. This is about We the People, and the first strength of the people is numbers. The more people, the more impact we can have.
2.
If you're thinking that you yourself might like to serve as a coordinator, then you should stop here and read the next entry.
3.
If you'd like to help out the Modcon Project in other ways—either in addition to or instead of becoming involved in your county module—there are many things that need to be done. Check out the list here, and let us know if any of those would work with your abilities and interest.
Okay, that's all for now, with the exception of one final point: BE HAPPY!
We know that the election of Barack Obama has prompted us all to wonder "how could something like this even happen?" Well, it's not a dream; it has happened. But that doesn't mean that we're finished, or America is doomed, or anything like that. We have the power.
Sure, there's going to be some tough going here for a while, but be of good cheer. If their arrows seem to blot out the sun, then fight in the shade. The power to win this or lose it is ours and ours alone. And we're going to win it.
Right of the bat, let us point out that you haven't committed to do anything. You've expressed an interest in starting a module, leading a state, or at least in learning more. This email is the first step in that process . . . and we really appreciate your interest and your dedication.
The county module is the fundamental unit of the AnyStreet network. It is the beating heart, the activist hub. Each county coordinator oversees the creation and operation of the module in his/her county. State directors recruit more coordinators and oversee the process statewide.
There's more to it, of course, but that's the gist. It's not a full-time job, but it's a bit more of a commitment than the classic organization (where you attend a monthly meeting, hear a great speaker, and then go home until the next month). AnyStreet modules are about action, about changing the political landscape.
You're probably curious to know how a module works.
Well, some of it will be modes of activism with which you're very familiar. Other aspects will be new and different.
There are organizations out there that, like AnyStreet, create chapters. Unfortunately, they don't give much guidance: they help the chapter form and then say "now go do some activism."
We're working with you on this. The entire national network is interconnected, with an infrastructure dedicated to giving you the tools not only to hold your own, but to push forward, every week, every month, every year.
At the same time, AnyStreet's blueprint for activism doesn't dictate how you run your modules down to every last little detail. It's a nice mix, one that gives the guidance you need to really make things happen, combined with the flexibility you need to tailor your module to local concerns and the makeup of your team.
Among the details—how modules are formed, how they will operate, and what (you and) they will do---are some proprietary concepts. These are concepts that we do not want to have fall into the wrong hands. So, we have a non-disclosure/agreement to sign. Not everyone in the network needs to sign it, but as county and state coordinators, you'll need to "see behind the curtain," so, if you're interested, the first step is to sign the NDA.
This level of security is necessary given the nature of the left, their presence at every level of society, and their willingness to do just about anything to achieve power. Let's keep the details as secure as possible—let's grow fast so that one day very soon, the left stands there gobsmacked, wondering how this massive conservative network seemed to spring up out of nowhere!
AnyStreet
c/o Castleraine, Inc.
Box 6161
Glendale, AZ 85312
You may also fax the document to the number listed in the masthead.
After we receive your NDA, we'll schedule you for an orientation conference call. And then the fun really begins!
Now, if you are committed to moving to the next level—you've sent your NDA and you're waiting—there is a task you can do in the meantime:
Make three lists: Conservatives whom you know in . . .
your neighborhood
your county
the whole country
Try to include some forms of contact information; if you can use a spreadsheet, that's even better. These lists will help you form and activate your module.
Many of these jobs can be combined for someone with more time/ambition. Many of these, likewise, can be divided up into smaller units for people who want to help, but who have limited time.
AnyStreet is our soon-to-be-launched nationwide conservative grassroots network. We are developing activist modules in every county in the nation. We will be taking on ACORN and MoveOn on any and every street in America, and we will be rescuing decent Americans from the grip of their lies, and from those of the media.
For AnyStreet, we need . . .
• Activists in every county
• One county coordinator for each county
• One state director for each state
• Activists and coordinators for the New Wide Awakes (minority outreach)
If you're mad as hell and you're not going to take it anymore, this is for you.
Web development
We have a good web programmer. Unfortunately, he is also incredibly busy. If we can find one or more conservatives to do some programming for us, either as a donation or at a reduced rate, that would be tremendous!
We need the following, either in one person or in several:
• PHP programming (in a Unix environment)
• MySQL programming (in a Unix environment)
• Graphic design
• Front-end layout/design
If you are conservative, reliable, relatively sane, and can work in any of the aforementioned areas, we would like to hear from you
Modcon Central
Modcon Central is our blog. It is a polyblog: we have a small group of autonomous posters and we also take submissions from several contributors. The blog is relatively well-trafficked (30K v/m and growing), and we'd like to make it a lot more vibrant. We don't want an endless number of bloggers, but we do have a few open slots for regular autonomous posters so we can fill out and complete our ranks therein.
For the Modcon Central, we need . . .
• Bloggers (quality writing from a variety of conservative perspectives)
If you are a blogger and you want to reach a large and growing audience (and you want to help that audience grow even more), this is for you.
Attractions
Posts in our blog can also be tagged and shared to specialized "beat" pages in other parts of the site. Thus, we also need a few bloggers to specialize in a small number of areas, posting on and/or aggregating resources/information about certain topic areas.
We need bloggers to cover (and/or contribute to the coverage of) the following beats:
• Patriotism
• Religion
• Humor/recreation
• New Wide Awakes (minority perspective and action on conservative issues)
If you are a blogger, a writer, or someone with a deep and abiding love for one of these topic areas, this is for you.
News
We update our news section and home page daily. These updates are comprised of the following:
(At least) one headline per day in ten categories.
(At least) one daily Top Story
(At least) one daily Latest "Outrage"
(At least) one daily Feature
For the Modcon Central, we need . . .
• Headline inputs (aggregated from other sites; if you like news surfing, this is for you)
• Top Story inputs (posted in blog, shared to Home page)
• Latest Outrage inputs (posted in blog, shared to Home page---this can sometimes be selected from existing items in the blog)
• Features inputs (posted in blog, shared to Home page---this can often just be selected from other existing editorials in the blog)
If you like keeping up-to-date with the very latest of what's going on, and you have a few extra moments each day to input a few selections from what you're already surfing anyways, this is for you!
Hollywood
We have a section devoted to the entertainment industry. It falls into two general categories:
1) Entertainment-related news and reviews from a conservative perspective
2) Resources to aid conservatives in the entertainment industry better pursue their careers
For the Hollywood section, we need . . .
• News and reviews
• Expansion of our entertainment industry services
If you have an interest in, familiarity with, or experience in entertainment or entertainment-related field/s, this is for you.
Dextropedia™
We are building a one-stop-shopping political issues encyclopedia called Dextropedia. This will be an amazing and popular resource, providing not only encyclopedic entries on a host of political, social, and cultural issues, but also news archives, forums, and links to organizations and resources concerned with each issue.
For Dextropedia, we need . . .
• Researchers
• Writers
• Management
If you are interested in details, facts, argumentation, apologetics, principles, etc., this is for you!
Dextrosphere™ Library
We are also building a register---designed to be as complete as possible, of all conservative blogs, organizations, and resources (books, DVD, etc.)
For the Dextrosphere™ Library, we need . . .
• Inputs/expansion of the library
• Person/persons to refine and implement our affiliation program
• Management (would fall under the same dept. as Dextropedia)
If you like organization and building major resources, the Dextrosphere™ Library is the place to be. The affiliation portion, moreover, lends itself to people who like to do outreach, networking, and marketing.
Guerillas
The Internet provides myriad opportunities for marketing.
We need people to help us in the following areas:
• Forum posting
• Comment posting
• Social bookmarking
• Social networking
If you are already someone who enjoys posting in forums, posting in comment threads, or doing Internet-based communication and networking, you could be putting those interests to use for us at the same time that you're enjoying yourself!
Sales and marketing
We have a tremendous array of sales avenues to explore, with potential for both lateral and vertical growth. (Commissions will be paid to successful salespeople). And, we have a wide array of marketing needs and possibilities.
In this area, we need . . .
• Marketing experts
• Salespeople
If you are good with sales and would like to make a few dollars, let's talk about the possibility. If you have marketing experience, let us know.
**As stated, all positions are on a volunteer basis for the time being, with the exception of salespeople (commissions are available) and programmers (unless programming can be donated, which would be really terrific!).

Voter registration activities in dozens of states . . . Taxpayer money given to ACORN for their radical causes . . . A leftist presidential candidate with ACORN ties.
For many of us, they seemed to come out of nowhere, but did you know that ACORN has been laying the groundwork for all of this for the last 30 years?
And now, they've realized their greatest victory. One of their own—Barack Obama—is now President-elect of the United States.
Well, we've all heard of them NOW, haven't we.
This is how the left operates. They're active in every area of society. They have a presence in every institution, and they're fighting on every front.
Most of all, they have a generational outlook: they're in this for the long haul.
Now, let's look at our side.
We do NOT have this same generational focus.
Yes, we'll work on a particular issue or get active at election time, but we're not nearly as good at seeing the big picture:
There's less coordination among our conservative groups.
We're less likely to be working at the community level.
We have fewer big donors . . . and nothing even close to our own George Soros.
And as bad we are, the official Republican Party apparatus is far worse!
We're getting our clocks cleaned, and with all respect, the answer is not to start yet another think-tank.
The answer is simple: we need to start thinking about politics in a whole new way.
Enter AnyStreet.org.
AnyStreet is forming activist modules in EVERY county in the nation. A permanent network with both online AND physical activist components.
We'll be operating 24/7/356 . . .
to help the GOP become more conservative—from the ground up,
to put the truth directly into the hands of the American people,
to take on the left, anytime, anywhere, on any street,
literally to make America more conservative from the ground up, house by house, street by street, county by county.
The process is already underway, but we need your help to continue.
We're not going to get any help from the GOP—heck, they can barely help themselves.
We're always hopeful that the big donors will join us too, but you don't have to be a big donor to make a difference!
Every dollar helps, $10, $25, $50, whatever you can do is truly terrific!
Contributions to Modern Conservative are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

Not only will we put your blog in our blogroll . . .
We are also prepared to give you a FREE banner ad on our site!
Greetings!
Judy Cook here, Senior Vice President of ModernConservative.com.
Lots of people on our side are saying "Conservatives need to work better together. The left does it, why can't we?"
Lots of people are saying it—we're doing something about it!
At Modern Conservative, we're building the Dextrosphere Library — a complete listing of all conservative organizations, resources, and blogs. The first step in working better together is becoming aware of each other, and the Dextrosphere Library is our contribution to helping that happen. And so . . .
Building this "library of all things conservative" is part of our mandate; your blog will be included in the Dextrosphere Library whether or not you choose to list us on your site.
That being said, we would be delighted and honored if you would list us:
Modern Conservative
http://www.modernconservative.com
Now, about that FREE AD . . .
The first step in working together is to become aware of each other. The second is to help each other to succeed!
If you succeed, that helps the conservative movement succeed, and that's what we're all about.
So, we're also prepared to place a large banner ad for your blog to appear randomly in a prominent location on our high-traffic home page...and another one at the top of our blogroll page!
It's a great way to let people know about your site!
In return for this advertisement, we just ask that you place a small piece of link code on your page:
This will place a small image of our Dextrosphere Library emblem, linked to the Dextrosphere page. (Or, if you prefer, you can save the image at the bottom and upload it yourself.)
If you are interested in taking advantage of this exchange, send us an email letting us know that you've put the above link on your page. Once verified, we'll activate your banner!
Why "Dextrosphere"?
Dextrosphere has become a term-of-art to describe the right-of-center blogs in the blogosphere. We've taken it one step further; we add conservative organizations, books, DVDs, etc. and use Dextrosphere to describe all things conservative on the internet.
And you're a part of that!
The left has created a vast network on the Internet. Not only do they have a massive fundraising organization on the net, they also have powerful, high-traffic blogs; an army of activists; and people willing to spend their time rewriting Wikipedia entries to serve the left's agenda.
All of us on the conservative side need to stand up to the left's relentless internet onslaught.
